Here is a logo I’m pretty proud of. A graphic I made to go on t-shirts and bags for a fundraiser paddle. I hopped on a SUP (Stand Up Paddle) for my first time this summer and I have really learned to love it. It’s a great core workout and a lot of fun! I will be participating in this 5 mile paddle to raise money for Christopher’s Haven. Christopher’s Haven offers apartments for families of children with cancer being treated at MassGeneral Hospital. It’s a really great charity and there is a wonderful group of people running the event. I’m really looking forward to it on September 11th!

Here is an invitation I just finished up for the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra. They are hosting a Phantom Gala on October 23rd. Sounds like a fun, dark and mysterious black tie event!

We hired videographer Max Esposito to document our Skateboard Art Challenge this year after seeing some of the recent videos he had created for Luminate Surf & Skate. I thought that it would be cool to have the Skateboard Art Challenge documented with a video because with just photos you were not able to experience the fun environment that this gallery show creates! If you were not able to make it to the opening, please check out this lovely video. The skateboards from Skateboard Art Challenge will be up in our gallery until September 20th. How to Bind a Book the Cute Way.

When I went to college I dreamt of becoming an illustrator of children’s books. I would sit in my studio and come up with stories, and bind them… by hand. I cannot imagine how many hours went into these invitations, but oh how beautiful! Makes me want to run to the Paper Source, buy some bookboard and a bone folder and sew together some signatures. By the way, how ridiculiously cute is this video? Sara reminds me of Zooey Deschanel in 500 Days of Summer. Anyway, thought this video was presh. Hope you like it too!

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Luminate’s newest rider Amanda Powell, but it wasn’t until I saw this video by Max Esposito that I got to see it for myself. Max seems to really capture everything about her, skate & soul… through this beautifully filmed and edited video. Max has agreed to do some filming at the Skateboard Art Challenge on Thursday. I’m really looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.
